Valley Medical Center - Inter-Community Campus
offers the only open-heart surgery program in the East San Gabriel
Valley. High level cardiac care is available through the on-campus
Citrus Valley Heart Center and its Cardiac Rehabilitation program.
Other key services at the 222-bed hospital specialize in cancer
treatment and wound care. It is considered by many to be an area
leader in new technologies and treatments for prostate cancer and
cardiac surgery. Inter-Community is located in Covina, north of the
10 freeway and just west of Citrus Avenue. |

Citrus Valley
Medical Center - Queen of the Valley Campus
is home to the recently built Family Birth & Newborn Center
which
combines state-of-the-art technologies with an integrated,
family-centered approach to maternal, neonatal and pediatric care.
It is also home to the area's first community hospital NICU which
has cared for more than 15,000 babies over the past 30 years. The
325-bed medical center operates one of the busiest emergency
departments in Southern California - with more than 54,000 visits
annually. And it is the base for The Geleris Family Cancer Center
offering complete education, diagnosis, treatment and support for
cancer patients. Queen of the Valley is located in the city of West
Covina, just south of the 10 freeway and a few blocks away from the
Westfield Shoppingtown plaza. |

Foothill
Presbyterian Hospital
provides the community with a unique blend of general acute care
services, including single-room maternity care, emergency
department, GI/Endoscopy, in and out patient surgery, intensive
care, pediatrics and diabetes care unit. The highly respected
Outpatient Diabetes Education Program began here and is now offered
at CVHP's other hospitals. The 106-bed medical center is also home
to the Foothill Center for the Partially Sighted, bone densitometer,
and occupational health programs. Foothill Presbyterian Hospital is
located in the city of Glendora, north of the 210 freeway and off of
Grand Avenue. |

Citrus
Valley Hospice & Home Health
rounds out the spectrum of important services provided by CVHP.
Hospice has an extensive home care program as well as a 10-bed
inpatient unit for those in need of short-term crisis intervention,
symptom management or family respite care. It offers round-the-clock
help, quality medical care and effective pain management. Citrus
Valley Home Health provides at-home care for those recovering from
serious and debilitating injuries and illnesses. It is located off
of the 10 freeway just east of Azusa Avenue in the city of West
Covina.
